From the Washington Capital Beltway
(I-495) -- Take Exit 23 "201 Kenilworth Avenue Bladensburg Greenbelt"
and proceed south on Kenilworth Avenue about 2 miles. Turn right onto Paint
Branch Parkway. Proceed approximately two miles to U.S. Route 1. Go straight
across Route 1 to enter the University of Maryland. (The name of the road
changes to Campus Drive.) See below for parking.
From the Baltimore Beltway (I-695) -
Take exit to I-95 South to Capital Beltway East (I-495). I-95 South
will merge to the left, joining I-495. Take Exit 23 "201 Kenilworth Avenue
Bladensburg Greenbelt." Proceed south on 201 in the direction of "Greenbelt
Road and Bladensburg." At second light, turn right onto Paint Branch Parkway.
Proceed approximately two miles to U.S. Route 1. Go straight across Route
1 to enter the University of Maryland. (The name of the road changes to Campus
Drive.) See below for parking.
Alternate from Baltimore - Take
I-95 south to the Capital Beltway (I-495). Take exit 27 and then follow
signs to Exit 25, "U.S. 1 South, College Park." Proceed approximately two
miles on U.S. Route 1 South. Turn right on Campus Drive at the main
entrance to the University. See below for parking.
For free parking, follow the blue line
on the campus map. – Proceed on Campus Drive past the Adele H. Stamp Student
Union. Just past Union Lane, there is a V-shaped intersection – take the
right fork and park in lots AA, AA2, or Z. Parking at metered spaces along
Campus Drive is also free on Saturdays, and thus is another option.
For passenger drop-off directly adjacent
to the building, follow the blue line and then the pink line on the campus
map. – Proceed on Campus Drive past the Adele H. Stamp Student Union. Just
past Union Lane, there is a V-shaped intersection – take the left fork. At
the next intersection, continue to bear left on Preinkert Drive. Take the
next left turn and proceed into parking lot D next to McKeldin Library.
