MARYLAND GENEALOGICAL SOCIETYMEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
There are many benefits to becoming a member of the Maryland Genealogical Society.
Membership provides access to some of the best research materials in the state as well as our Newsletter and also Journal. The most valuable of all benefits is the Maryland Genealogical Society Journal, successor to the former Bulletin. The Journal is published three times annually. It features information concerning Maryland genealogy research, case presentations, family pedigrees, technology guides, Bible transcriptions as well as a world of other material focusing on Maryland research. Additionally, members have access to seminars, luncheons and occasional Basics + lectures which are held at historical and genealogical venues throughout the state. Registration fees are often reduced for our members. Joint membership with the Maryland Historical Society provides access to the Historical Society Library (H. Furlong Baldwin Library) as well as all other privileges of the Maryland Historical Society.Click here for a membership application to the Maryland Genealogical Society. Currently we do not accept applications via the internet. Please print out the application form and send it along with a check or money order to the address provided on the form.
