On 10 July,2010 we’ll be offering our Basics + Workshop, “Immigration – Point Lookout to Locust Point”. We are pleased to have Bob Barnes, Wayne Schaumburg and John Deeben offer talks highlighting our ancestors’ travels to Maryland from the colonial period through 1957. The program will be presented at The Stable at Carroll Park in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Maryland Genealogical Society is delighted to announce the opening of a unique, very ambitious project ... an on-line database of our members Maryland genealogy. To view this searchable database or to submit your GEDCOM
- MdGenSoc Fiftieth Anniversary Project
The Maryland Genealogical Society celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2009. In honor of this landmark we are working on a grand project - transcription of 50 volumes of Tickner Funeral Home records. We released our first CD at the Society’s Gala Anniversary dinner in 2009. We Need Volunteers for this huge undertaking.
